Karyn Margolis

Our beautiful Karyn Olivia Margolis(Cleere), passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday , June 10th, 2022 at the age of 79. She was born Saturday, March 13th, 1943. She was born and raised in Stockton,
CA, before residing in Encino, CA. She worked as a Legal Secretary, and Sales woman, but her favorite job was being a Mom and Grandma. Karyn was a very dedicated mother, aunt, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to many.
Karyn was preceded in death by her father, Victor Cleere and mother, Jean Cleere, son Cory Margolis, brothers Max Cleere, Ronny Cleere, and Sister in-law Linda Cleere. She is survived by her loving daughter Cindy Margolis, and daughter in- law Monica Margolis. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren Nicholas Starkman, Sierra Starkman, Sabrina Starkman, Dominic Margolis and Serifina Margolis, and beloved nieces Lori Matley and husband David Matley, and Roni St John and husband Todd St John.
Karyn's greatest dream in life was to be a Mother, and later in life to be a Grandmother. She provided a home that was a loving safe haven to her children Cindy and Cory and instilled in them that they could do whatever they wanted to do without limitation. She was a strong single Mom and parented with love, strength and dedication.
Karyn had a passion for so many things: Heritage, Religion, Holidays, Family and her 5 precious grandchildren who she loved more than anything. She loved animals and would rescue any in need, she spent a huge part of her life feeding stray cats, had a bird feeder on her patio and left nuts out on her bedroom balcony for the squirrels that visited her every day. She even spent time volunteering at the local shelter, so she could help find loving homes for the animals brought in. She was a very creative person, and loved making handcrafted items, everything from taking ceramics classes and adorning her home with the beautiful pieces she made to taking cake decorating classes. She loved when she was able to spend time crafting with her grandchildren and teaching them her artistic skills.
We know she will not be far away and her heart is our heart. We love her as she loved all of us....generous, caring, forever, endlessly and unconditionally. There are a lifetime of wonderful stories and precious memories that are forever etched in our minds and locked in a precious box in our hearts.
We thank you, we love you and we miss you... from the bottom of our hearts to the depths of our souls, to the tips of our toes!
