Jessie M. Keyser, a resident of Northridge, CA, passed away on October 25, 2021 surrounded by her beloved family.
Jessie is survived by her three (3) children, Cynthia Herbst of Winnetka, California, Kent Keyser of Eugene, Oregon, and Kim Vesper of Valencia, California; six (6) grandchildren; two (2) step grandchildren; five (5) great-grandchildren and four (4) step great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her loving husband of sixty (60) years, Sherman G. Keyser.
Jessie was born in Jerome, Idaho on April 13, 1928 to Saturnino and Mercedes Gogenola. She graduated from Idaho School for the Deaf in Gooding, ID. in 1946, following graduation she moved to California where she later met and married the love of her life, Sherman Keyser. To help support the family Jessie and Sherman were building together Jessie found a career with Emerson Electric Co in Chatsworth, CA where she provided 18 years of service as a solderer on the assembly line, she retired in 1990.
Jessie was a devout Christian and was a member of Shepherd Church in Porter Ranch, CA. There was nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with her beautiful family, playing cards and of course traveling. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her.
