Dolores Hermanson

Born December 5, 1931 in Leisenring, Pennsylvania to Catherine & Ole Olson, Dolores’ family soon moved to Detroit, Michigan where the teenage Dolores would be voted “Most Popular” at her all-girls high school. “Dee” met her future husband, Harold Stratton at one of the co-ed high school dances. Married in 1951, they relocated to Canoga Park, California. Their two children: Diana Lynn & David Harold soon followed. Dee loved being a mother and raising her precious dachshunds. After the children were raised, Dee spent 20 years working at NMB in Chatsworth, CA. Dee loved going to the horse races, handicapping the races, and pulling the slot machine handles in Las Vegas. In 1982, Dee married Bernard Hermanson and together they enjoyed cruises to Mexico & Alaska. Dee was pre-deceased by Bernard in 2011.
The family wishes to thank all of Dee’s loving caregivers: Sofia, Rosa, Irene, Maria, and Vivian. Dee is survived by Diana Cutonilli (Steve) and David Stratton (Martine), as well as numerous friends and co-workers.
