Count Von Edmondson passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at his residence in Northridge, California.
He was born on November 27, 1956, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Count Edmondson Sr. and Armie Jean (Williams) Wiley, who both preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his son, Michael Payne; two brothers, Tommy and Richard Plump; one sister, Shirley Ann Wiley; two brothers-in-law, Pastor Nathaniel Dowdell and James Fulton; and two sisters-in-law, Val and Margaret Dawning.
On June 22, 1989, Count married Lani Haslip. From their union, Anthony and Lauren were born.
On September 21, 1991, Count was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He served as a ministerial servant, elder, and pioneer, assisting many in the congregation.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Lani Edmondson; four sons, Cory (Rona) Edmondson, Andre Waddell, Byron “Sam” (Lisa) Payne, and Anthony Edmondson; and one daughter, Lauren (Nate) Owens.
His siblings include Jean Webber, Paul Dawning, Susan Sharpe, Paula Dawning, William Dawning, Carol Dowdell, Rose Fulton, Raymond Plump, Henry Wiley, Edward (Robin) Wiley, Vincent Wiley, Jeffrey (Daisha) Wiley, and sister-in-law Lisa Plump.
He was a grandfather and great-grandfather to many.He was a beloved uncle, a cherished cousin, and a true friend to all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed, especially for his incredible sense of humor and unforgettable stories that always had us in stitches.
