Azucena, Susie, Susan, Sue, Honey, Sweetheart, Auntie Susie, Grandma Sue,Great Grandma, Mom, is one of five children born to Arcadio Munoz and Maria LaPaz Bombase Munoz. She was a beautiful, strong woman of many talents and qualities. She loved to sing, that's where she met our dad, singing in a nightclub in the Philippines, while he was serving in World War II.  One of her passions was gardening. She spent many hours gardening and even creating her own species of roses by grafting them together. She loved to sew, she would sew most of her daughter's clothes and made curtains, bedspreads, and many other items to decorate her home. With only a 7th grade education, she started as a maid in Kaiser hospital but with determination she decided that she wanted to work in central supply, but through grit and determination she made it happen, eventually becoming supervisor. She is survived by 4 children, a sister, 14 grandchildren,    great grandchildren. She befriended and was loved by many. Her beautiful smile, personality, humor, singing, and love will be missed by all. Her love and laughter are carrying on in the loving arms of her husband and our Father in Heaven.
