Audrey Whittinghill

Audrey Mae Whittinghill, 93 years young, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. at her home in Northridge, California. She was surrounded with love and many tears. Her children were with her until her last breath, holding and comforting her.
Audrey Mae (Strommen) was born in St. James Minnesota, to Henry and Ella Strommen, on December 24, 1923. Audrey attended High school and St. James High and graduated in 1941. After the war, (WWII), she came to live in Los Angeles California, and was married to Donald K. Whittinghill on August 5, 1950.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald, her brother, Wallace Strommen, and is survived by her four children, Pamela Sorenson, Diane Beach, Keith Whittinghill, and Douglas H. Whittinghill; four grandchildren, Susanna Sorenson, Samuel R Sorenson, Sean T Sorenson, and Charles D. Beach, and her great Granddaughter Audrey Sorenson.
She will be interred with the love of her life, Donald at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Los Angeles National Cemetery.
