Alan Michael Levenstein (Daddy, Pamps, Grandpa, Stan) passed away on January 15, 2025. He died exactly how he would have wanted: in his house, in his bedroom, probably after turning the TV off at exactly 9 p.m.
Alan was a brilliant, stubborn, and quirky man with a dry sense of humor. He intimidated most people, but to those he loved, he was incredibly sweet, caring, and loyal. Most of all, he loved his dogs.
Born in Detroit, MI, on April 29, 1944, Alan attended the University of Michigan where he met Judy, his wife of 58 years. They moved to California where Alan graduated from Stanford Law School, and he took the CA bar exam the day his first daughter, Amy, was born. His second daughter, Susan, followed two years later. Alan happily and successfully practiced law for more than 56 years and never fully retired. His grandchildren, Zoe, Zac, Jack, and Luke will also miss him very much.
